1) For Mac:

1. Delete Canvas Draw from the Applications folder
2. Delete Canvas Draw directory from \Library\Preferences\ACDSystems or Canvas GFX.
3. Delete Canvas Draw directory from ~\Library\Preferences\ACDSystems or Canvas GFX.
4. Delete 'com.acdsystems.Canvas-Draw4.plist' or 'com.canvasgfx.Canvas-Draw5.plist' file from ~\Library\Preferences.
5. Empty the trash. Hold the "option" key and click File | Empty the trash from the menu bar if those files were locked in the trash bin.
6. Restart your Mac.

You can now re-install Canvas with the Canvas X license code. Note: try to enter code manually instead of copy-and-paste if your license code is not accepted in the installation process.

2) For PC:

1. Uninstall Canvas X from Control Panel | Add or Remove Program
2. Delete the Canvas X application settings under the user profile folder:
   1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to this folder: C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\ACD Systems or Canvas GFX
   2. Delete the "Canvas X" folder
3. Note : If you cannot view the Application Data folder:
   1. Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
   2. Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
   3. Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ACD Systems or Canvas GFX. Delete the "Canvas X" folder if it exists.
5. Now, please be very careful with the following steps:
   From the 'Start Menu' click 'Run'.
6. Type in 'Regedit' and click OK. You are now in the Windows Registry Editor
7. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ACD Systems or Canvas GFX\
8. Delete the 'Canvas X' folder if it exists.
9. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ACD Systems or Canvas GFX\
10. Delete the 'Canvas X' folder if it exists
11. Exit the Windows Registry Editor.
12. Restart your PC.

You can now re-install Canvas with the Canvas X license code. Note: try to enter code manually instead of copy-and-paste if your license code is not accepted in the installation process.
